Good-bye, November...

November was a fun month. Katie, my niece, turned 4. The boys and their cousins on this side of the family had a lot of fun at her party, especially playing with her toys. I started a new rotation, Food Animal Medicine and Surgery. It has been a good learning experience and reinforces my previous desire to work on cattle. Ben gave several presentations on the program he built at work and has since converted the system over so it is up and running full time now. We are very proud of him! He is amazing at his job. Ben, Christopher, and Jonathan went to Hutchinson for Thnksgiving Day to eat with and visit Granny and Uncle Alan. Miriam, Mashalla, Jojo, and Anna Gogadi were there. Rebecca Reid was there. Brandon, Hannah, and Katie Unruh were there. Then they traveled to Melvern to visit my Dad and stepmom Kathy, stepsister Amy, Grandma Dewey, Aunt Pat, and Aunt Kay. They had the Thanksgiving meal on Saturday. Christopher actually rode on a horse all by himself (with someone leading the horse, of course). I stayed in Manhattan to help care for my patients in the hospital (a mother Alpaca and her cria (baby)), but Miriam brought me back some leftovers so I had my own "real" Thanksgiving dinner, too. It was fun and December should prove to be a fun month as well.
